Science Ethics and Humanism

by Alan Montgomery | 25th February 2026 | 0 comments

Meetup: Lunchtime Discussion Group – Science Ethics and Humanism. Wednesday 25th February 2026 at12.30 pm

We’ll be discussing the role ethics plays in science and considering how this relates to the humanist advocacy of science.

Questions we’ll be considering include: does science provide a model of ethical enterprise? Is it wise to imply that scientists must be good role models? Should being a good humanist require a strong belief in science?

What are you views? Come along to share them and discuss with like-minded people in a friendly environment.
